HKTA Tennis for Sichuan If you Love tennis Help Sichuan Today, Adrian, Wayne and Graeme joined coaches from the Hong Kong Tennis association to help raise money for the victims and families who suffered from the recent earthquake.Students were able to book the coach of their choice for an hour’s lesson for a minimum donation of $1000. It was great to see so many OTR players contributing and getting in some extra valuable lesson time. The event was hosted by Chinese Recreation Club,South China Athletic Association and Craigengower Cricket Club with 18 coaches participating at CRC alone! 8 courts were used and lessons went from 9am to 5pm.The HKTA is estimating a total of $150,000 + to be raised from today’s effort. Also up for auction was a signed tennis racquet of Maria Sharapova as well the opportunity to get a photo with the actual Olympic Torch used in the relay. A special thanks to Suzanne and Margaret of the OTR Div 4 Team who couldn’t hit today but generously gave for the cause. Thanks to Everyone, what a terrific day
