After day one Hong Kong were looking good with 1 match a piece. OTR Coach Wayne Wong won Hong Kong’s first ever live rubber against Indonesia winning in 4 sets. Day 2, Indonesia’s doubles specialist and veteran Suwandi was in fine form with his younger partner beating Wayne and Yui Hui Tung in 3 sets. The reverse singles featured Hong Kong’s Henry So and Michael Lai with Henry taking the first set and looking in a commanding position before Indonesia’s Prima, experience showed finally taking the match in 4 sets.
