Sean Cooper and Jason Lijewski lost a tight 3 set match last Saturday to Jonathon Chu and Jack Hui. After losing the first set 4/6 the boys served their way out of trouble to take the 2nd set 6/3.
With the last 3 years of Runners up trophies the boys wanted to turn the tables and secure the illusive title.
Coop’s usually rock solid bomb of a serve was never looking in doubt with the final set heading towards a tie breaker until a lack of concentration saw a break of serve after leading 40-15 at 3/4.
Chu then served out the match and the CRC Doubles title will have to wait another year.
